Hi im new to the forum and this is the first head ive planned that looks good and im ready to model it, so give some feed back as to what i should fix. Im going for photo realistic. Does it look good overall. one thing i noticed is that the front forehead looks a little wide. should i fix it or is it all right?

At times like these a little shading always helps. I've taken the liberty. Once the highlights and shadows were added, the problems became more apparent - the eyebrows were too low and the lips were a little too high. She was a little wall eyed too. Hope this is helpful to you.

Eyes aren't right. They are too far apart. There should be about one eye length between the eyes. Here is a good site for drawing the face. Click
Hope that helps.

Reedoo

Well i started over, got some better references and came out with this, my only problem is that im not sure how the top of the head should look so if someone could quickly outline it for me that would help allot! I havn't finished shading yet, it's the first time ive tried painting like this, it's fun.

Polykarbon has some really good tutorials on drawing. It's slanted towards anime but it's got some good general drawing tuts as well.

The guy behind it does some work for the games industry - think his latest was doing character for Quantum Redshift.

Moved this post to the 2D forum as it isn't really concept art...
