Talking Animation: So Heavy, So Light

Thought I would try out this posting thing with my newest animation.

It's a 5 meg MPG, let me know what you think.

Well the characters were extremely simple. However the movements of the first character seemed pretty natural. The second one was too mincing to seem realistic in my opinion. Also the action they were doing wasn't that interesting. Overall it wasn't too bad.

I think with better characters you could show off your animation skills much better.

Great job...a character is not of that much importance if you aim for animation. Animators animate Really nice. I like the idea too !

Very nice sir.

Heh I love the music and the more detailed animations you put into the characters (i.e. legs shaking, etc..)
The part with the second guy knocking the "M" around like a balloon was cracking me up.

I saw this on 'another forum'

I have to say that is one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time!

The animation is excellent the timing is superb. The real feeling of weight! You were able to give quite some character to those rigs

You are one great animator m8!

the 'second guy' is obviously a gal

*edit* In fact I put it in my 'look at these when you get discouraged' folder

I can't believe some of us checked "I hear McDonalds is hiring".

Maybe what the characters do is not really "cool" but that's not everything.

This animation is cool.

There's a good sense of weight. The action is sometimes too fast but not enough to say that it ruins the whole thing.

Good work

Good job !

You are a very good animator.
Your modeling is very simple, but your animation is very good. I love it. I'm sure you're going to find a job.

Also I hope i'll see some other of your works.

Félicitations ! C'est magnifique !

Wonderful F@#king wonderful, great animation and those are biped this is not a modeling demo it is obvious. And those who checked I hear Mcdonald's is hiring, totally missed the point of this reel. This is great and i too think you will be getting a job. And also to those who checked the Mcdonald's is hiring must be really new to the scene and should keep there comments to themselves.

wow! even though the characters were so basic, the animation more than made up for it. great stuff, you mustve spent a long time animating all those movements. btw, do you use a maneken(sp?) or do you think of the movements in your head?
