I'm an early beginner too, but I've seen a few that look good. Most are too expensive for me though.
Check out the Gnomon Institute, and Vancouver Film School. I'm also currently looking into Animation Mentor. I strongly suggest you teach yourself some stuff first, as that's how you'll find out what it's like without paying for a school first. There are plenty of free tutorials online. Use them. |

Hello Everybody
introduce myself, i'm a 22 boy who love animation.i'm currently studing in Barcelona(SPAIN) the basics of drawing, storyboard, scripting, color, lighting,CG(XSI ,Photoshop,Flash),compositing(Combustion) and ,of course, animation. i feel that i improved my skills but it's not enought to work in a profesional industry Next year i would like to move to learn a little bit more and the get real tips and tricks from the Pros. I know that the very best are Animation Mentor but, now a days i've not enoguht money to take this course and i don't know if i've enoguht skills to take advantage of the course. I think it would be better to take a course where i could learn a complete software package(prefer Maya) and his tools for animate and creat my own characters, and then, make a specific course of animation such as the Animation Mentor I was looking the schools around the europe but i don't know which ight be the best or who might have the best teacher. I would like to hear your opinions and know your expiriens. What are schools of confidence and can be done harnessing the talent and reputation that have school and the teachers of the same. Thank in advance |

If Animation Mentor is out of your price range, most other schools will probably be more expensive.

There truly are plenty of school but if your looking in europe I gess Supinfocom is one of the best down here. Loads of their students get hire in high places such as dreamworks pixar or so.
Just take a look at their website but as far as I m concerned it s the best u can have in europe |

I'm looking too, I'm not new in cg world but still need to improve to be more specialized in character modeling & animation. Anyone can give suggestion about online school? Is it worth much to apply this kind of school? or should I attending real (not online) school?

Any-body know a school in the UK?
Would need to be a post-grad course as my current course isn't that specialised and covers loads of different digital media design practices. |
