3ds max 9 keeps crashing on me?

for the past several days max keeps closing on me. i'm not doing anything intense on it. like just now, i was moving verts on a simple primitive and it just closed. no warning, slow-downs, or error messages. It appears to do it only when i'm rotating the viewports. i've never had this problem with this before.

if it happens during viewport rotation then it`s certainly your display settings.
Try getting the latest drivers for your card,or try changing your display driver all together.Also get the service packs for your Max if you havent gotten them yet.
