Need Help, After I layed Out My UVWs for texturing Can I change Smoothing iterations?

I modeled a Cartoon character and I got all the UVWs layed Out to get ready to texture. But as I was looking, I had Meshsmooth on 1 iteration. When I modeled it to look good with 2 iterations with Smoothing Groups on. Is there anyway to be able to bump the iterations up to 2 with out messing up my UVWs?

well, good news. You don't want the meshsmooth on at all when you unwrap. The unwrap adds geometry, which will just make it harder/take longer to unwrap.

But to answer your questions, adding another iteration will not hurt the model/uv's.

If you haven't done this, just right click on the uv unwrap mod, and collapse to. That will save all the uv info to the mesh. You can then add and subtract the mesh without screwing up the uvw's.
