Delay in recalling Material Editor!
There is delay of about 10 seconds or more whenever I call the material editor.... I used a P4 with an nVidia Geforce4 ti4600. I know this does not happen with my other PIII based machine... How can i solve this? please help

well are you using some very complex material trees. i get a lot of slowdown when i have a whole bunch of slots filled with complex material trees. i mean this is probably some sort of setting/hardware problem but i thought i'd mention that heavy material trees will lead to a natural slowdown.

It was definitely the nview drivers... I updated my drivers and it seems to have fixed my problem... or the delay is not noticeable.
Thanks... & Kuman... I had an unrelated question... could you please tell me why I can't dock any new toolbar to the tab Panel in Max5 like I could in an earlier version... it's annoying.... Ghori
