DWIII - 3D - DeviousFish - [TBA]

To be honest, entering this kinda scares me. But I really want to give it a shot... how far I'll actually go is in question.

Class: Invoker
Race: Human
Artifact: Metal eye and gauntlet/vambrace, both imbued with magic.
Type: Light/Holy

Background and some sketches will be posted later when I get off work. I figured I'd post this before I'm tempted to just lurk again...

God my head hurts. this is all I have so far.

So basically, there are two parts to the artifact, the eye and the gauntlets. The gauntlets are held together with magic, the cyan thingy acting as a power source. The eye is simply an enchanted metal sphere. What the eye does, is allow the holder to see threads of light in the world. Using the gauntlet, she is able to pick at these threads and shape them into symbols of power that can shoot out beams of light or whatever.

More background story tomorrow, my dad is yelling at me to go sleep.

If your head hurts..your eyes are probably to close to the comp screen...back up a bit!...seriously though, it's got an unassuming Jedi look to it...

Thanks for the replies. I'll get about making it more, um, unique when the weekend hits. Something quick to say I'm still hacking at it.

Though I am having difficulties with what this character would be wearing... not much into any armor that would hamper movement. Maybe the weekend will help.

Switched the Eye to the right. I guess in this one she's in the process of pulling together threads to create a light beam.

I did have another character idea. The dude is an artificer in magical artifacts. He has a 40-60 percent chance of not blowing something up when creating an object... it looks better when he's behind enemy lines at least. But he doesn't really specialize in any of those magic types, he's just kinda general. Maybe he can summon imps to hold stuff for him....

Bed time, I have a psych, math, and physics test tomorrow (oh my) and I'm really only prepared for none of them. :|

Yeah, being creative can rack your brain sometimes, but stick with it and you'll see growth in the concept. Give it a history and really feel it out. Good luck, and can't wait for the next post.
