here is a camera change, lacking foliage on the right because, hm, it wasnt supposed to show on the original camera position lol again, very low anti-aliasing I think the ss is still too high, the bely button is loosing definition http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/9...ew2copyoe1.jpg

I like the latest render, I think the previous renders with the over-glow in the background were just a bit much. But anyways, looks great.

All the work you have put into this project has been well worth it. You are doing an awesome job, everything looks awesome. The only thing I could say is that the skin looks a little bright, but I think that's just because of background is just black. Last image that where the camera is on the front left side of the character, the left shoulder tends to blend in too much to the background. The spot by the shoulder armor on the cloth is just blending into the background too much. But, again, this is just because of the black background.
Let me say again though, great job man. Keep up the good work. |

No problem man. I really have nothing better to do anyway. :P Anyways, it's looking real good. I could only find two things while looking over the image.
The first one looks like the light is coming in to a point then spreading back out. I'm not sure, if that is the helmet, or the way the camera is positioned or what. The second one just strikes me as odd looking with the dark shadow spots on the armor. Again, I'm not sure if this is the armor, or the camera/lights. Anyways, it's looking really awesome man. It's way better then anything I could ever do. :P Keep up the good work!! Also, what was the environment going to be? Are you still working on the forest environment you were showing before? Or did you throw that idea out? ![]() |

thank you, first, yeah I am going to change the environment, I didnt like the forest result, I am still thinking on what should I do.
about the spots. the number one is correct, that odd effect is from the anisotropy. the number two is the reflection of the HDR, its not a good quality hdr, just a probe, so it merges all messed up on the sphere. well at least I dont think that there is something wrong with the mesh: ![]()

Ok, looks good. Yeah, the mesh looks fine. The spikes are a cool edition. You are starting to go into a a more mix of good and evil, in my opinion anyways. Kind of like a high elf with a dark elf armor. :P Sorry, had to throw in an Elder Scrolls reference in there.
Anyways, what type of environment are you thinking about? |

Face is looking good. Now the only thing I can see, and I am really fishing for things here :P, is that some of the areas look a little rigid.
