the beach.... the beach...... take the "TIME MACHINE" to the beaaaaaacccchhhh. argh!

some people are quite blessed.... he he. it would take us a seven hour trip to get to the "nearest" beach, and with that "TIME MACHINE" it would take a tow truck to take it there (I wonder.....maybe the "TIME MACHINE" could take me to the beach!! the problem is it might take me to a beach a thousand years back where it's infested with dinosaurs...). oh oh oh and forgot to ask, daddydoom does your processor happen to be running at a quad core one? no not your pc... you!!!

I'm on a Mac Dual Core :P I just had some free time this week. Most of my work is undergoing client approval so, since I work at home as freelancer, I got an unexpected break and managed to focus on the caveguy. I work as fast as any other guy

The beach thing really caught up with you guys

Everybody green with jealousy muah! Funny stuff you did with that comp. Where's your main character dude?

It's curious, because having so many beaches nearby, last year I didn't make it to go to swim one single time, due to work overload

But this year, there's no way I'm gonna let that happen again!

i used to live just a 10 minute walk from the sea and you've reminded me just how much i miss it, but yes you are very blessed and you should definitely make the most of it this year! maybe 3dtotal should relocate?

i'm going sloooowly.

Nocturn8...yup it's zbrush, i know people say it's cheating at 3d...but i don't care, it's the end product that counts.
love the time machine but it needs a egg timer or something.....

Heh! Today I've indeed reduced the gear shift so it all got back to normal. Plus, I'm taking a new slip at the beach today

If ZBrushing is to cheat on 3D, this forum is a lair for cheaters. I wouldn't surely mind to be one too... Your caveman is looking cool. Very unique style and features. Can't wait to see it finished!

how do i make it clear it's "helmet testing"????
cus i don't think a sign saying test area in written form is possible in that time and age....should i just draw a caveman face wearing some headgear on another rock?

You could just make a pile of previously tested helmets, all broken, and a third caveman using a huge bandage in the head.

Here's a tiny update, but I guess it's close to final. Unless some crazy idea pops, it wont change much until the final version.
The scribbles on the cave wall and the fire are added in Photoshop (the hand prints are actually scanned from my daughter's doodles with inks and paper).

Hope you guys like it

Maybe instead of bones on the floor u can put a baby dinosaur sleeping tied to a leash kinda like a house pet

Yeah,that's a cool idea! Maybe I can relocate the bones to the left of the fire, and tie up the dino to the rocky table. I had previously thought in doing a saber tooth cat... but a dino is cooler

im also working on some ideas for the contest. soon as i got something done ill show u guys.

dadydoom: ur fast but the lack of anything close to anotomy is abit to much of me. feels to me that ur trying to work to fast. the challange is also,as i see it, a way to show off our skills and improve them, aswel as our creativety and just plain fun. just my opinion though so do with it as u wish..
