Pssst, hey 3Dan, can we have a bigger pic, so that we can read what's written on the sign? Well, cause there's written Emerson............., eh, looks a bit like television!

hmm, that wouldn't make sense, maybe it's Emerson Radio and Television? We (don't) know

And ROCK we will
Rinne take a look at the WIP thread on that radio and you will see the bumpmap with the logo. It's self explanatory.

Cool Dan!
... almost I can hear the music...

The only thing is that I think it could be a little rusty (maybe) so it'll look more realistic (it's an old radio isn't it?)
Maybe some imperfections will be cool...

What do U think?

Thank you for the comments.
Rinne, only now i got the joke. I'm a little slow... Emerson by that time was into tv manufacturing as well so maybe they wanted to proudly display their capabilities.

Fabrizzzio, this radio was made of plastic - maybe bakelite, so no rust. The loudspeaker screen sagged with the years, as can be seen. A little denting on the cabinet can be considered though.

(Your avatar is a sensational piece of design, simple but strong graphics, reminds me of Malevitch )

I understand Dan. You're right.

Hey! Why don't you put the radio in an evironment... maybe a table, a room, or something... so it could get a retro air...
I can imagine a great model using it!

One knob - i don't know which - to search for your favourite station, the other to turn the volume up or down.
Naturally...

Fabrizzio as for a scene i was intending to make a shelf with a few radios displayed, sort of a hobbyist collection. I'll work on the other examples and do it.
