Vray animating material HELP !
Hey guys ,
i have an animation that requires ,a transition from complete transperant to an exsiting material one , now ok i know that if you use STANDART material you can go and animate it from opacity 0 to 100 and than the object appears BUT HOW the hell do i do this with vray materials ????? PLZ HELP |

ok ok , i found one way to solve this sry
, i use blend material with one vray material and one standart material , and than play with the opacity of the standart and the mix amount between them , anyhow if anyone has got a better idea , i would like to hear it sry and 10x anyway ![]() |

If it's a whole object, then it's easier to right-click on the object and key the 'visibility' spinner.

Or for a vray material, you could turn down the IOR for refract to 1.0.
Then key the refract colour changing from white (transparent) to black (solid). |
