3ds max - moving stuff by very little
Hey, I was wondering if there was a way to get rid of the initial kind of snap that always happens when you move something. It is a little irritating when I try to move some vertices by a very small amount. I hope you understood what I'm talking about, if not I can make a video or something.

Are you talking about Snapping? There's a button on the top menu that looks like a magnet with a 3 above it. If this is on turn it off...
Perhaps that's not what you mean... If you are actually right-clicking on the select and move tool and then using the dialog boxes, you can change how accurate you can be by going: Menu/Customize/Preferences --> Set Spinners/Precision = 4, 5, or 6 etc... If that's not what you are talking about then, yeah a video would be good. or even two images. |
