video post effects and raytraced materials

lo peeps
i'm trying to make the cabin on the xwing i'm making reflective, i've created a raytraced material and it seems to relects fine. I'm also using a star field for the scene. The starfield doesn't reflect in the cabin tho, do video post effects not show up in raytracing reflections? or do i have to endable something?

i want the cabin to reflect the surrounding space, don't want to model the cockpit and pilot basically
