Sathe, that's really something I haven't thought of. Quite a technique, and it's obviously doing wonders for your work, I need to give it a try. I've got Yahoo Messenger, don't know if it's compatible with MSN. I'd love to talk this, and other things over.

Great update man, your really putting this together fast
Can i suggest making the bicep armor a little bigger, just to give him the appearance of a tanky character. Also to Bring out the Chest plate more? Like put a 4x4 ffd on it and pull out the 4 middle verts on the modifier. I still dont see a tank underneath the armor, yet his face has all the traits of one. In Order to move that much metal around would need to be pretty beefed up. Ive always hated draw overs so il let you keep cracking at it, but the design is really awesome, Can you post an update with all blinn next? Just want to check some highlights. Cheers, /.G

Allright, I've adjusted the size of the chest, arms to bulk it up some more. Thanks for sticking with this thread, Sathe. I've also tried out your Connect technique to replace chamfering, and it works great!
Here's an update, both in usual shaders and in Blinn. I'd like more comments on this project. So don't be shy! ![]()

Indeed a beauty sir... the armor design and details, the textures, modelling and lighting. and it's really awesome how you manage to use multiple software with ease. truly amazing! great job!

You're right.I'm still adding armor parts on him, so he will be well proportioned in the end. Today was too busy for me to work on him, though.
