i've downloaded an ant model from www.3dkingdom.org cuz i want to have something to animate...i know this aint so "nice" but hey im a n00b at modeling so ill start with something finished =)
the prob is that the ant wasnt boned...it has no skeleton...and i think that you need that to be able to animate the different parts of the model...so im asking this...how do i bone the model??

It depends on the programme U are using.
If you have 3dsmax U can either use Bones or Character Studio. **Create a structure that resembles the structure of your character and the link it** It would probably be better to read a tutorial on one of those methods. |

try getting some tutorials on how to setup "skelegons" in lightwave.
it's one way to deal with bones in lightwave. best of luck. |
