Sector 16 Iron Man (Stane's Iron man)

I saw a blue print of the Sector 16 Iron man I really liked so I decided to give it a shot and I was reaaalllly inspired by sathe's work ,pretty perfect skills and amazing model. Sathe, the connect technique works great, waaaay better than chamfering no little triangles to worry about anymore.

So here is what I reached so far but I m having a problem, and i think i would be having it either ways with connect and chamfer. The problem is when I get to making a single edge to be sharp I do it this way (as shown in pic) I know its not the right thing to do but I dont know how else to do it so if anyone has an idea how to fix it I would be really grateful.

And of Course C&C are most welcomed and appreciated

you could connect the edges all the way through, and then tighten them around the corner.

better to keep all quads if possible, thats why your getting the errors, i'd run a loop next to the side edges, like an inset, and follow the loop through.

If you use Meshsmooth, you could also tinker around with the crease attribute in there. The only problem with that is you can't really see what you've already tightened without selecting it.

Yep, Stane is Iron Monger. You might have been thinking of War Machine, Stark's buddy, I got them mixed up.

Hi ibrahim_gabr

It is good to see you start this
The way you have done the edge creasing is perfect, exactly as i would do it. Now you have to ad a turbosmooth modifier and manually move the points so it does not pinch (its very possible and quick when you get used to it)
I hate to say it but the method tolae has suggested of using the crease feature should never be used, it is not a tool that can be converted to other programs thus caging the model to max.
You have done it correct, just need to manually tweak it im afraid

Woops, sorry, must have confused him with Warmachine.

i had problem area as well, what i did was this: keep those edges already surrounding the corner, and manipulate the contour edges, to create a corner.
