I need some help finding hip hop referece images. I have a project with the subject matter being an interior scene of a hip hop club. There is so much hip hop info on the web, that I would just like to narrow my search. I am familiar with most architecural styles , but I must admit that my knowledge of hip hop is somewhat limited. Any feedback is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

i recently saw the movie 8 mile. maybe worth checking out. i thought it pretty much sucked except for the scenes of the rap battles in an underground hip hop club. great lighting and very grimy if that's the kinda thing you're looking for. maybe rent the movie and check it out.

Lighting is one of my main concerns. and then typical layouts,colors and such. I think I'll be going with a "clean" image, as "lot's of bright colors" were one of his specific requests. The walls, for the most part, will consist of collages dedicated to AALIYAH and LEFTEYE. Thanks Kuman, movies are a great idea. I'll start with that one. Ha, my kids will think I've lost my mind.

Hi, instead of the collages things you'd better put some graffitti on the walls. That would look more authentic - if you don't find hi-res graffiti paintings on the web I could send you some.

I foud a few hi res graffiti but I could use some more. Chek out "night club" in the WIP section. tell me what u think.
