Hulk miniature
Hello all.
First post in here. I'd like to share this Hulk i modeled inspired by the "hulk fever" around. The idea was to make it like a miniature so as to get some attention from toys companies to my work. Whole work took about 2 months using my free time. Base meshes in XSI (I started from a horrible mesh, i know, but i like to keep it simple and fast) Retopology done in topogun. Posing in zbrush using zspheres rigging. Total number of polygons: 9,9 mi I also started texturing it, but i'm still learning the secrets.... hope you all like it, Best regards Fabricio http://fabriciotorres.files.wordpres...06/hulk_31.jpg http://fabriciotorres.files.wordpres...06/hulk_32.jpg http://fabriciotorres.files.wordpres...06/hulk_33.jpg http://fabriciotorres.files.wordpres...06/hulk_34.jpg http://fabriciotorres.files.wordpres...06/hulk_35.jpg http://fabriciotorres.files.wordpres...06/hulk_36.jpg http://fabriciotorres.files.wordpres...06/hulk_25.jpg ![]() |

Very excellent work. I love the pose, the face is great, and the detail is fantastic. I like that you've gone the extra mile and built a nice base for him as well. Only two things look a little off to me. First, some of the veins across the arms don't look quite right in my opinion. Also, His (extremely stretchy) pants look a little too thick to me.
Great work, looking forwards to more.

Well, I've already had my pick of the week, but I just know someone else will be snapping this one up! Beautiful work 5* undoubtedly.

That's really great. I love the small head. It gives the impression that there's not a whole lot of smarts up there, which makes the character that much better.
I would LOVE to see this as a 3D Print. 5* (I don't give those out much.) |

Great stuff! Looking forward to seeing the textured version; please promise to post it in here (or email it to me
) - if you pull off the texturing then the image could be 3DTotal front page worthy ![]() |

Damn! you beat me to the pick of the week with this one, this is truelly stunning work, love the details especially the damanged plinth base with all of it's elements.
I can't wait to see this baby textured, but it's got a gorgeous beauty all on it's own as it stands. 5 stars work, and work to be proud of! CG. |

Excellent, there are some good Hulk models around atm, but this one tops them all. I hope you get noticed by the toy companies that deal with this stuff. this will make for an awsome shelf filler for sure. It reminds me of an artist called Kolby Jukes, he recently did a Batman and Joker sculpt for DC's line of busts - the Batman Bust is out now and I think the Joker is coming out in July to coincide with the Dark Knight movie
best of luck with it Jay |
