First Demo Reel
Hey, Ive just finished my first demo reel and would really appreciate some crits. It focuses mostly on modeling, but there is a little animation in there. Im looking for a job in Toronto, any offers
. Heh, anyways, any input on what to leave out or whatever would be greatly appreciated.MGReel.avi Right-click, save as, and you need that latest DivX codec Thanks

It looks nice..
You need to increase the RGB Level on one of the maps. -In your rocket scene, the engine flame on the right booster has pink artifacts all over the place. ![]() |

Damn, I thought I had that wierd artifact issue solved by putting it together in Digital Fusion instead of Premiere. When I did it in Premiere, there were artifacts all over the place. Do you have any idea why this happens, I cant see it on my computer, so maby its a codec thing.
What maps do you think I should increase the RGB Level on?

nope...not there...
most likely it's a problem with XP or maybe you don't have the updated codecs... I'm running w2k (the most stable version of windows yet) with windows media player 9 and divx 5.0.3

Hmm, I know what you mean, Ive seen that before. Its not happening anymore on my computer though. I have XP also, but you may want to update media player, or play it with the DivX player that comes bundled with the DivX codec. Also, make sure you have the latest one, 5.03 or something.
Any other comments on the reel itself? Thanks
