The Sculpting Challenge - 005 - VOTING
THE Sculpting Challenge - 005 - Voting
The fifth sculpting challenge final entries are in and it's time to decide a winner. This job rests in the hands of you, the participants and spectators! We're sticking to the same voting system as earlier. Find your three favorite entries and rank them from first to third giving them points according to this formula: 1st: 3 points 2nd: 2 points 3rd: 1 point -Only the rank and names are required, and we would prefer if the thread is kept clean of chatter and such, but feel free to give a reason why you chose the ones you did. -In order for your vote to be valid, your post count must be 50 or above to prevent a "fixed election". Only exception is if you have contributed an entry yourself. -It goes without saying that all voters MUST look through each of the entries before posting their score, and only entries from the final submissions thread are valid. -Don't vote for yourself. We will add up all the points and announce the winner on Tuesday July 15th at 10:00 AM GMT, or if we see it fit before that (no votes for 24 hours etc). Best of luck to everyone! |

Bryzol : 1st - i could see this statue standing somewhere and i would wanna touch it but i would be scared.
Kazmamurat : 2nd - Minotaurs, goat men, this is always creepy. throw one in a labrynth and ur set. MonteCristo-3DT : 3rd - two people killing each other while maintaining a creepy face, yes creeps galore. Everyone else had really good ones too, it was hard to vote three only. |

1.motecristo-3dt - freaking awesome, emboddies the spirit of the brief and it makes sense, looks like a real sculpture.
2.bryzol - cool! 3.Puckducker - great stuff, I like how the great entries shine from a couple of pics, without views from every angle. Some people go overboard. great entries all round

Well done, folks
Here's my vote: 1st: Ordibble Plop - Twisted thinking literally, would really set one wondering if one were to come across something like this. 2nd: Mafida - Sheer detailing and going with the theme too. 3rd: MonteCristo-3DT - Creepy again, good form and pose......nice concept. Makes for a real statue. Wish I could become as good as you someday, guys! Keep it up! |
