We have recounted again and again and we always come to the same totals which are:

Life is hard and mostly crappy as it is. There's no need to bring all that into a space that should be all about fun and learning. As a community, we should be better than this.

We've seen what one guy ( with 20 accounts ) can do.
Now we need to move on, there's other things we need to focus on instead of a jackass from Dubai. Damn shame this happened, but in the end, we always get the cheat. I believe it's safe to assume that all of us will be more careful and cautios from now on.

Great job, Monte for that wonderful sculpt. Same goes for Bryzol, Puckducker ( about time you joined the comp, man, long time no see ), and MrPeculiar.

Freespace - Don't forget noone on the forums here has seen any official word, had contact with mods, or read post on the suspected cheating. For some this is very confusing.

We can discuss another method for voting, but i'm glad to see the first steps of action being taken on this matter.

I appreciate everyone's upset about what's happened but we need to not let this affect us, and as you've said, Freespace, we need to move forwards now and not dwell on the past. Please can everyone refrain though from calling people names, as it's not really called for, in my eyes. Whatever has happened, we don't want to goad or make matters worse by rising to it and getting angry and calling people names, as I believe this will only lead to making things worse. So please let's move on and get stronger, and let what has happened in the 005 challenge be a lesson to us - let's use what has happened here to make us wiser in our future challenges!

Hey Freespace, thanks for the reply! It's been a sad day for us watching the forums and seeing all this anger, upset and conflict, so let's get back to the point of these challenges: to have some sculpting fun and take part!

Note to all: Please only take part in these challenges if you're honest and respect the Threedy forums and its moderators, admins and staff. We don't want people here who are going to abuse us or take advantage of our trusting natures, so please only take part if you fit the bill and genuinely want to learn from the speed sculpting challenge experiences! I think that's fair to say anyway, as these challenges rely upon us trusting that the entrants create the work in the allocated times. So honesty and trust people! That's what it's all about here, so let's all get back to enjoying these great challenges that MonteCristo and his Merry Mods have been working so hard on for us for the past few months. Let's not let a minority spoil things for those of us that actually want to learn and improve - the genuine way!

Holly cow. What the crap is going on here? Who are all these no names with sub 100 posts coming in and trying to talk about being fair? I know that these contests are created to get people into the forums, but this is a bit ridiculous. To be honest, I don't think there should be voting at all. I think winners should be chosen by a panel of moderators that don't have an entry in the contest--I think all contests should be done that way. That's how contests work. There's a panel of judges.

We're losing established and strong forum members in exchange for half-a-dozen nobodies interested in nothing but a 3D print.

Sad.

I understand that you want to move on, but there will be a ripple effect here, and it needs to be addressed. I hope you mods are up to it!
