Arabesques
Hi all,
this is my last personal 3d work, it's born with the help of my girlfriend Gaia Perniceni, she given me the 2D cad of the arabesques and the 3d model of the chandelier. In this image I've tried to recreate an old moresque courtyard. All has been modeled, also the tiles of the floor, for a total of more than 20 milion of faces, and no displacement maps have been used. I hope that you like it. I used 3dsmax, finalRender and Photoshop. As always C&C are welcome. Here you can see the big resolution: http://www.3dlink.it/temp/arabesqueshq.jpg Here you can see the wireframe: http://www.3dlink.it/temp/arabesqueswire.jpg Cheers! Marco Lazzarini |

The wire frame is really scary man. but the final render is beautiful. Nice texturing. How long did it take to render?

This looks awesome man, very detailed and meticulous work. Is there a reason behind modeling all of this and not using other methods or is it just pure enjoyment? LOL.

Haha, yeah, its amazing work, and proves as a great technical feat, for you, and your computer, but a displacement map would have done just fine
Hehe, lovely
