this is a forest i made in 3d studio max 5, and want to know what u guys think it comes in 2 flavours photoshoped and non-photoshoped

I think the 2nd one had been touched up. I like it - and the fog ads a nice warm glow to it.

thanks for the comments ! anyone else want to make some ? and yes the second one is photoshoped to give it a warm morning feeling and the first one is a gloomy mystrious feeling

Wow, that's totaly cool

Only thing which is bothering me, is that the grass is repeating very often!

yes! definately the 2. one works best in my eyes. cool scene! just missing some little rocks at the right side of the path and the way sign could have a name on it...
nice!

Well the bottom one is way better than the top one. The top one is much more muted and has almost no contrast. You could also maybe change where the camera is. maybe bring some leaves really close to the lense and blur them to get a since of depth. Where it is right now it feels stagnent.

ok thanks guys ! am gona make another render, higher res and randomize the grass some more, use some DOF, put something on that sign, fix up the trees and maybe light that tourch!! any other suggestions ?

the scene looks cool, but it looks quite artficial because of the grass for example, its too, dunno, sintetic....
i like the secondone though...

I voted that you suck and should get a life.

Actually I did, but I'm just jokinh, looks pretty cool actually. Though it could use some living things in the second one to go along with the warm alive feel. Nice!
