Low-Poly Lotus Elise HOVERCAR

Hey everyone !!!

I've been working on a low-poly model for a game that i will submit soon.

The reason i had to create it in low polygonal form is because the game has Requirments, and one of the many is that it cant be over 3,000 polygons.

Anyways, I actually already finished it. But il show you a couple of pictures anyways. First il show the real life version of a Lotus Elise. And then a render of when i was half done the model. Then a render of the finished model in 4 different colours. Now, the reason i made it a "Hovercar" is because the game im submiting it to, has not yet given users the right to design ground vehicles. The only things we can custom model are, Hoverboats/cars, Hoverbikes, hoverboards, and hoverpacks (jetpacks)

Sounds kinda weird right ? well its a very futuristic game and its pretty cool. Anyways, the reason i create models to submit to the game is because people use their Virtual money to purchase the vehicle i created, then they can ride it around in the 3d world as much as they want. And i gather up all the money they spend to get the vehicle, and i end up being a virtual millionaire LOL ! And then i usually go to a website related to the game and sell my fake money, for paypal. And then send it to my bank account

Anyways heres a real life picture of a Lotus Elise supercar.

Here is a picture of what my version looked like when i was half way done.

As you can odviously see i didnt finish the back of the car yet. But i just took a render of the front to see what my friends thought of it.

Also you can tell i have some things to round off and everything. Like things are a slightly pointy and stuff, but again, i was only half done. This is very rough.

Now the finished version took me about 3 weeks to finish the whole thing.'

Notice it has no wheels ? and not even a space for wheels ? Because again, this is supposed to be a "Hovercar". A few people i know, try to make it a hovercar by creating wheels, and then twisting all 4 of them on a 90 degree angle, pretty creative huh Well i took a different approch. Anyone ever see the television show "futurama" ? all the hovercars in that show are like this :P completely round on the bottom, no wheels, no nothing.

Anyways, post your comments ! opinions ! future things i could improve ! again, i have NOT submited this yet so if you have a really good suggestion for me please tell me and i can maybe improve it before submiting !

Nice modelling of the body. But no offence but it just looks as if you forgot to model the wheel arches and wheels. I think it's difficult to make a convincing model out of something that already exists in real life but leaving out an integral part of how it works. It may be better to design something from scratch. Like I said, no offence meant just what I think. Maybe you could model the arches and wheels but have them tucked away and covered over like an aircraft's undercarriadge.
