Speed Painting Challenge no. 78

Topic: Anime Style

Idea: Seeing as the Olympics is going on in China, I thought I might be cool to do an anime style challenge. So here is the idea, draw/paint something, anything, but it needs to be in an anime style. If you want, you can do fan art of your favorite anime character, or you could even take your favorite none anime character, and anime their butt. If your not sure what anime is, google it, but be warned, turn your parental filter on.

Deadline: 11:59 pm (GMT) Sunday 24th of August. (use the time zone thread to make sure your done in time)

Prizes: (must be at least 6 entries)
Winner gets to choose one of the following options:
- 6-month subscription to the 2DCreative magazine
- 6-month subscription to the 3DCreative magazine

Rules:

-Any medium is allowed, as long as it can be put into digital form - scanned, photographed, etc.

- Since it's a speed painting, it should be finished in the smallest amount of time possible, but if you paint a whole day, you won't get disqualified . But for example, 4 days is too much

- IF YOU PAINT MULTIPLE ENTRIES, YOU NEED TO STATE BEFORE THE DEADLINE WHICH ONE YOU LIKE THE BEST. IF NOT – I’LL DO IT FOR YOU

- References can be used - 3D or photograph, BUT you can't paint over them. It has to be your own painting.

- Custom brushes can be used, but to some extent - they can't be pre-made parts of the future painting, like a whole tree, brush, cloud, explosion, lighting... you get the point. They can be - a couple of leaves, a couple of grass blades

- There will be a final entry thread, use it. Voting will also take place in that thread.

Hadn't done any drawing in a while and I've never done any Anime so now all I need is a subject

BiG ToE-3DT i dont know why did you related anime with china , but anime is from japan lol

well here is one of my entries about 4 Hours total, (45 Min's on line work - then scan and spent the other 3 hours and 15 Min's on the coloring). I kinda wanted to do it as a comic cover, and was inspired a little by Star War and AppleSeed concept (little).

Can't wait to see what others come up with.

Here's my try at this. Approximately 1 hour in photoshop... Had a hard time as I've got little practice in my wacom. Hope you guys like it.
