This was a good tutorial. I am curious, can we have a sub section in the tutorials that contains all of Richard's video tutorials? They are gold and great for beginners too.
Lastly, it is not mentioned in the tutorial, and I have seen it around before. What is that box, and what is the purpose of it; the one that has the ring around the bottom of it, and says "Front, Back..."? Thank you for being so awesome. |

Hi Incomitatum, thanks for the support! This is definitely something we'll be doing in the future when we have a few more video tips tutorials. We're looking to source other artists to start creating some more for us in all different software, so when we have a nice collection we'll look into getting them compiled in a special area on the site. Till then please keep following them in the Free Tutorials section
![]() About the box question, I'll have to get Rich to pop on the forums and answer that for you. ![]() |

Hello Incomitatum,
The box you are referring to is the viewport navigation tool or "ViewCube". It essentially lets you navigate between views from within a single viewport. You can cahnge the view by clicking on the numerous sides of the cube or alternatively drag it to set up a custom view. |
