3ds modelling need help

I really got no idea how to treat these edges. How to keep the smooth surface and sharp edges unchanged when applying Meshsmooth?
help me please

what i do is add segments right next to the corners u want so it hardens it out. so try using connct tool to make segments close to the edge and on the inner to help. its like throwing on a teselation but ur in control

yes..just remember a single edge by itself will always try to round itself when you smooth.So if you triple that edge ie: another edge on each side of the origional and move them close together then when you smooth the origional edge has less room to stretch before it hits the next edge...so it stays square in shape.

yes as said use more edges arround your "corners". they have to be exactly where you draw the red lines in your first screenshot.

another method can be using smoothing groups and apply the meshsmooth-modifier with the surface parameters activated to seperate by smothing groups.

anyway i would add more edges to sharpen the corners.
