Heres is a still from my final year short film - Smile an short animation by Phil Paris Zarcilla and Semir Saleh
We got it into our universities film day but unfortunately we didnt win anything

It was joint project with Semir Saleh who did the Modeling and lighting and
i did the texturing, compositing, mattepainting and design of the robot

Sorry you didn't win anything, but you got people to see your work and that's a great reward in itself!

Now I'm curious how did you go about rigging the robot's neck? Lots of wires and cables there.
