Romantic Dinner Project

Hi everyone!
After some years of practice in 3d studio, i finally got the courage and the patience (i think) to start a entire scene project...
I want to create a romantic dinner scene with candles, a cool view and as much details as i can remember and have patiance to had to the scene. I'm gonna post the progress of my work on this thread so everyone that wants to see my work help me in finishing the project (because when i try to do a whole scene i always get bored because i don't like what i see).
My goal with this is to see how far can i go in project, and to learn new things and techniques while exploring 3ds max and vray, and while you guys help me with this...

So here it is what i've done till now:

the cloth feels too thick for the table, the table is a odd proportion, the chairs look better without the cloth over them, as the table and chairs are the main focus try putting more detail in them instead of just some simple bevels and extrudes. keep it up

Great work mate!
In my humble opinion i don't think you should change the table cloth.
Just put on a shinier material and get a texture on it and you're good to go
Keep it up!

Nemesissy: thanks for the comment!

Another update:
-Made the table and cloth on the table bigger, because they were to small and the table set didn't fit on the table;
-Added another small cloth above the old one;
-Textured everything up;
-added some color to the vray dome light and reduced the multiplier from 0,6 to 0,4 (which seems to be too reduced);
-added a background image.

Here are the textured and the clay renders:

the problem your having now is the background looks more realistic than your actual models, thus putting it off shape, it is relativly dark, i would suggest adding some street lamps or even a candle, people having a romantic meal dont generally dine in the dark :P, plus adding light will give you visability to see the chair textures which look complete black, the floor is nice though, keep it up.

nexgirl: your right i already added some candles to the scene and i haven't turned GI on in vray, i hope the scene gets brighter with it, anyway my next step is going to model some candles to put at the top of table and maybe some plants...

Update:
- added some candles, witch aren't visible;
- added the petals on the floor;
- added the top part (sorry i don't know how to call it :P)

(played with photoshop to correct the color because it was too blueish)

I forgot to say that i had a problem when rendering the last image, when i was rendering an error was always appearing saying something like: "UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: memory allocation failure" can anyone tell me how bad is it?
I thought it was because i had to many objects on my scene, so i reduced the meshsmoth of an object and it rendered fine, does this mean i can't add anything else to the scene?
