Question about Carry-On Bags!

Im about to move to another province and I want to bring my computer but I don't want to ship it because it might get broke/stolen/lost so I thought I would just wrap up all the components and take them in a carry-on bag on the plane. Does anyone think they will give me trouble at security for having a bag full of components?

Dont think you'll have any probs....

We went to a LAN down near London a few years back, and a friend in our gaming clan came over from Germany on the plane with his PC. He took out some of the more fragile stuff, like HDD and PSU, and put them in his carry-on bag. The box itself he put in a suitcase to go hang out with all the other suitcases....
He did get asked a few questions by security, but he thinks that's because he's Iranian

Anyways, if an Iranian flying in to London with a bag full of electrical components doesn't have any probs, I expect you'll be fine

Best bet is probably to check with the airline you are flying with before you get there to board the flight. There's nothing worse than turning up and having to mess about with your luggage because you assumed something would be ok!
