HDRI Problem

I am using MAx 5 and have installed the Splutterfish I/O plugin for HDRimages, but recently evertime I go to open one Max crashes. This will happen 9 out of 10 times has anybody else had this problem. If so please help.

try reinstalling your programs/plugins.

If I uninstall MAX will it remove my maps, plugins, and images that I've added. I tried unintall and reinstall the I/O plugin to no improvement.

You can choose the Repair function when you install. But you'll have to reinstall the official patches (5.1 and the last Character Studio).
