Photoshop and Wacom settings confilct ? WRONG
Hi guys,
Recently I somehow managed to crush the end of my intuos 3 pen, the tip, and with the middle and right click buttons. Heres my problem: The eraser still works 100%. So what I want to do is set the eraser button to work as a pen. I goto my wacom drivers, I change the pen's eraser to be Click instead of Erase. I do this under the photoshop presets I have AND under the all other programs presets in the drivers. No mater what I do, as soon as I go back into photoshop (cs3 btw) and try to use the eraser it automatically switchs to eraser tool no matter what settings I have set for photoshop in the drivers. Are there any default tablet settings that I can override in photoshop ? btw all of the other buttons on the pen have been set to disabled, the eraser is the only one with a setting. ![]() Thanks -bevis |

I was going to say just select the brush tool with the eraser but that doens't seem to work on CS2 with the intuos 3 - I'm fairly sure it does with my old intuos1 though

Its frustratingx I'm sure Ive tried everything. Its like all the settings should work but they dont. I know theres nothing wrong with the eraser cause I installed some budget painting app and it was using the eraser as a brush fine, Im pretty sure its some photoshop setting thats in fine print somewhere , thanks for the reply poopipe ^_^
