Peace & Quiet
Mountain always stand erect straight and never shows any sign of disgrace. So it is a sign of audacity, patience and passion. Stupa is an icon of Buddha beside Buddha is an envoy of peace, I think there is no more peaceful place rather than the mind of a child. So I depict the child as a sign of peace . This is what my painting potrays.

1. Tokai- Awesome painting style and choices of color.
2. Ha Jassar- Although I agree with TJerk on the strokes. 3. Milan- I gotta be honest, that child looks like a 90 year old woman. |

1. wildbrew - i spent more time in front one of those in my childhood than a regular child watches tv, nicely done also
2. tokai - i see a lot of work behind this one 3. ha-jassar - i like it, but it's too... i don't know... mild for me somehow.

When you have to pick three out of just four entries and hence leave one out... this sucks a bit, really.
What happened to the (final) entries of the other participants?Anyway... here my votings and some short reviews. 1. HA-Jassar - I like the 'flow' in the picture. 2. Joshmb24 - Beeing a nature guy myself, I like the scenery and mood in this picture and especially the (pose of the) guy is well captured. Just some extra reflections (of boat, stones, etc.) are missing though. The next one was pretty hard/ impossible to choose for me. Wildbrews painting is certainly technically excellent (moving head a bit back it almost looks like a photography), but the content (the kind of fireplace, not the idea) is maybe a touch too abstract for the topic. On the other hand Milans painting is better on the topic. I clearly understand the intention here of catching in certain Tibetan/ buddhistic elements... which for many people represent 'Peace and Quiet'. Besides the child really looks a bit old (but that doesn't really matter, if it's an old woman or a young child, IMHO) it also captures the snowy scenery very well. There might be a bit too much eye catcher objects randomly placed and hence the picture comes out a bit too busy. But in the end it was really (more or less) just a decision by toss. Sorry for that. 3. Wildbrew regards, tokai
