Quick question
Hey guys I have a friend who is wanting to get a bachelor of Fine arts...
I am trying to convince him to go into CG because he likes both. And to be able to convince him I need to know what you can do with a BFA. If I am understanding right... with a BFA you would be trying to support yourself with your own artwork you create correct? So you would be creating art and trying to sell it... What else is there? And basically what I am trying to tell him are the pros and cons of the CG industry Vs a fine artist... Last edited by Bigley; 15-11-2008 at 09:21 PM.. |

Im BFA with a concentration in Electronic design and Multimedia (EDM) so there's no fine arts involve just computer art work, like graphic design
![]() I think getting a BFA is pretty general, so he probably he could go either way, CG or fine arts. He could probably get a degree in BFA with a concentration in CG and do fine arts as a hobby. Thats what I have going for me I studing graphic design and cg is my hobby. hope that helps ![]() |
