and because of Aleks and his Death Dealer, I'm thinking Death Dealers all around.

yeah, i like the deathdealer theme. but maybe make it a bit more open. maybe choose from a melee fighter, archer or magic wielder?

or maybe something totally different. maybe something like, i dunno, a cop, or something. something that doesnt give us almost 100% creative freedom and is a lot more restricted.

or something else completely different. like a stereotype. maybe a nerd, or metalfan, goth, and just really exagerate the crap out of em.

All Joseph Pomeisl's ideas are awesome because they give you a theme without being literal! You can interperet the topic and still have creative freedom. I love it

Hi people, I'm pretty new here but I've lurked through the last three or four contests (doesn't that make me sound like some sort of creep!)

I've been really impressed with the work you guys have pulled off, and I'd really like to have a go in the upcoming contests and improve my game work.

A quick suggestion for the next contest, how about some sort of wacky racers-type vehicle? If you don't remember the wacky racers, click here.

What do you guys think?

Chung Wong: specs depend on the topic. if beast-ish then look for something along the lines of what we got going now. Cars and what not, guessing we could drop it a bit.

tb1alexc: wack racers sounds cool, but the cartoon falls short of what I had in mind of a wacky racer.

Yeah, we could create our own versions of wacky racers... that would mean inventing a character, and inventing a machine to go with them, plus any extra gadgets / weapons etc. It would be quite a challenge, that...
