Dude, that's what I call detailling!
Did you model the cylinders (or doors) as different objects or did you extrude them out of the main body?

If that's the case, it implies a lot of tweaking as raw booleans usually leave crappy meshes which need to be cleaned up.

Thank guys for viewing my thread and to put comments.
To answer : yes !!! there are pro boolean, it's better than boolean, when it's complex to sculpt. I use specially box modelling and i sculpt pieces. Cheers |

brilliant stuff so far
, i made a kind tiger tank a few months (see portfolio) back and had alot of trouble modeling the vents, pipes and bolts at the rear of the tank but you haven't had much trouble here. I can really see the resemblance between this and the king tiger after seeing yours, alot of features of the main hull were used in again in the tiger 2 i think. |

Damn man, this is awesome. I espesially love the padlocks on the equipment boxes on the turret. This model is a beast!!! Keep this project alive please! |

Funnily enough im going to be starting a Tiger I real soon. I'm getting the Tamya model for Christmas for reference, though this thread should be a real good help as well.
Hopefully i can match yours to some degree as its looking very good indeed. Well done! |
