Designing a character/drawing moodboards/sketches
Hi,
This probably isn't the right forum for this, but it's the most appropriate one I could find. If it should be elsewhere feel free to 'mod' it there. My problem is: I want to make an animated short and I need to apply for a grant. I'm the writer and most likely director of the short. I have found people who are good animators and modelers, but they're not designers. For my application I need to provide the grant provider with sketches and pictures to indicate the mood this short film will be. You know the kind of things you see in 'making of' Pixar books etc. But I can't draw. At least not in a way that conveys emotion. So here's my question: is there anyone out here who'd like to take a shot at this? It's a pure no cure, no pay kind of thing right now, since this project will only get made if the grant is awarded. To give you an indication of the preferred style: Geri's game/One Man Band. i.e. stylized humans in a slightly abstract environment. If anyone's interested, please contact me through PM and we'll see if our tastes have common points. Thanks in advance, Sander de Regt The Netherlands
