Really nice work. I've just got a couple of quick suggestions. Hope you don't mind. I'd also maybe separate the ring from the the protrusions on his collar but that's just a personal preference. Good luck with the Interview.

Just adding some more small details should help this out even more. its looking like a toy now, but good work none the less. keep it up.

One day to model the whole mech is quite fast! Can you show a render from the back to see how much details you've added there.

Good luck with the interview.

ok so I've fixed his schawnzstucker I beleive, and I've got my rendering how i want it to be, I was going for a plasticy clean look anyway for this and I do plan on adding more detail to him at a later point i simply dont have the time to do it to him now

anyways, new renders:

and one of the back as requested, I realise his leg armor is too thin at the moment, and I am going to fix that

He was originally going to have a big massive jetpack sort of thing on the back there but i decided against it, I'm thinking ill add things like Comm units and stuff there now and he can fly through boosters in the feet.

Cool the Griffon TYPE J9, without air or water unit. Strange to see it in a color other than black. Cool to see someone do a patlabor unit.
Good luck with the interview.

haha awesome so it is recognisable, I really like this style, kind of like an old school Bio-mech. I'm not much of a fan of things like Gundam, they always seem so blocky, I prefer a smoth curve to my mechs I'd like to do Blade from Tekkaman if i could find some decent referance pictures but alas its nearly impossible to find anything on the series at all these days

but now that you mention the color, I might change it over to the Black/orange glow coloration, I went with light colors to show off the modeling a bit more as thats the point of the project but I might do a few renders, like a clay with wireframe and then have a more accurate black/orange...
