Very interesting sweet concept. There is just one thing that i don't like - the hair of the girl fading to her blouse... You could give it more life add a wind or something ... little pieces of dandelions flying around... It's my suggestion.

Seems like some kinda a monster more than a monkey but its damn good I like it over all, and yes the sky perspective is totally off you must work on it to make it more stand out... good luck.

I like the subject and the composition lends the characters a quality that almost makes them feel like pieces in a chess game.
It is purely subjective but I would be inclined to reduce the musculature on the creatures arm and leg and emphasize the volume in a similar way to the head and shoulder which feel very solid and heavy...just a thought

I would have to agree with Kitana, it almost looks a little unfinished. Put a glow around the girl and it would almost soften her up, then you have a soft feel to her and a nice harshness to the Big green guy. And some dandelions flying around would look great and give the whole piece a freeness!
