Tyrannosaurus Rex
Greetings to all!
It is reconstruction of a landscape of the Late Cretaceous in the North America and reconstruction of one of the most known dinosaurs - Tyrannosaurus Rex. During work creation I constantly consulted to paleontologists to receive as much as possible exact result. Thanks all who helped me! P.S. Sorry for my english =) ![]() Another viewpoint: Last edited by Swordlord; 20-01-2009 at 11:56 AM.. |

Great composition. Looks like a photo taken on a live model at the Natural History Museum or something like that. Fantastic!
A front page plug is asked and a a feature on the site gallery too. 5*!

Looks great! I know that he had small arms, but it shocked me to see, how tiny they really were. Good work.

Great image.
Superb model and texturing. There is one thing bugging me about the model, the spikes along the back. Did T. Rex have these? I can't find any reference material with these. Anyway, as I said before, great image. |

Thank you very much for your comments! I'm very pleased that you like it!
![]() NeXt 0ne His arms became so small because he did not use they. ![]() ![]() Fredddy Yes I know. The spikes were my sole fantasy on this picture. I just wished to make my dinosaur more interesting and to give him more individuality. But nobody can't proves that T-Rex had not spikes. ![]() Last edited by Swordlord; 20-01-2009 at 07:00 PM.. |

Unfortunately I did not have a possibility to study one concrete skeleton. It is very difficult to find the necessary materials in the Internet. Therefore I modelled being based on skeletons of various individuals. ![]() |

Wow brilliant work, this makes cg in the Jurassic park movies look amateur in comparison to your renders.
