The Story:
When I was three or four years old my uncle always came to visit me and my parents. For some reason I was so afraid of him, it was something in his smile that really freaked me out. I remember he used to picked me up in the air and smile at me at really close distance to my face. I was soooo scared, that I even couldn't cry, I used to have nightmares about that smile. I never told my parents because I remember, I didn't want to get in trouble. Don't get me wrong though, he is a really nice guy, but its just that smile man.... Now I am 22 years old and even now, when we talk and he looks at me straight in the eyes and smile, I still get the shivers, really crazy. When I think about that now, I have no idea what his kids went through....Hehe

Life & Death
Here is my final submisson. This was my first challenge! I had a lot of fun and it was a great creative exercise.
------------Life & Death------------ We all fear uncertainty at one point in our life. The fear of the unknown is something that haunts my mind constantly. That fear is sometime what the future will hold, or what goes after life, if anything at all. I am not a religious person, so I do not believe in an after life, I think that is too simple an excuse. This sculpt is meant to represent a combination of that fear, binding the concepts of time and death into one sculpture. |

For all of us afraid of spiders, the concept of a giant spider is scary enough. However, the idea of potentially becoming lunch for such a spider makes it even more horrifying. 5 approx. Hours to complete. All I know is this project creeped me out!
