Well, this was my first experience with vector art, so I'm not quite sure I'm qualified to judge the program . But if I have to I'd say it was pretty smooth and newbie-friendly. It also has an adequate feature set, although I've read that it misses the Gradient-Mesh tool from Illustrator, which allows the user to make custom shaped gradients instead of only linear and radial ones.
