Hi eyecon!
This looks like a great concept and your showreel is amazing. One problem I have with your concept though is that the main feature from the original plate (the gateway) is set very far into the distance. What's stopping somebody putting it even further into the distance to the point where it's unrecognisable, which defeats the purpose of having the original plate to work from? Unless of course this is going to be of a very high resolution so that the camera (for example) could pull right back from the gate? Just a thought anyway. ) |

It won't appear so far in the distance once he blows the final image up to the proper size. I think the appearance of distance is due to the size of the image in this instance.

Hi chrisskinner,
I guess jfmgraphics is right. I'm working right now at 4500 resolution and I will output the final image in 2048 or 2k. The whole gate will still be recognizable and most details will be seen. That one your seeing right now is just is just 633x319, very small since I am still sketching all the details in. It does look very small but when posted on the final resolution, you will be seeing the full detail. Thanks for the concern though. don't worry I won't cheat you guys ![]() |
