Besides the proportion issues between the rider and his horse, the scene seems fine. It looks like not finished yet though. Maybe you could separate fore, middle and backgrounds a little bit more. Also some additional texturing on landscape might helped to enhance the overall image.

Awesome use of textured brushes. Beside nacho_grande's recommendations, nothing to add. I can't wait to see it finished.
