Illustration and Graphic Designs

Hiya everyone. I'm starting a new thread for my work since I'm beginning to move away from strictly portraits toward illustrations and works with graphic design elements.

Long term goal is to get work doing book, cd and magazine covers as well as posters so the work I'll be posting here will be oriented toward that goal.

The first one (attachment) is a really simple design but hopefully the complexity of my designs will start to increase as I post more work.

Comments and critiques welcome.

Unless otherwise noted, all work done in Photoshop.

Very nice work, especially on the suit. The arm and the gun might need a bit of work, maybe a very subtle outline to underline their shape. The face might need more work because that will have to be your focus point. So, try detailing it a bit more and light it more also. Remember, some light will refract off the white shirt under his chin.
