Hey all! I recently moved from Maya to 3DS Max and I was hoping someone could help out with a problem I've encountered. I am animating a character I built and I have to have him pick something up and then drop it again. In Maya there was a script I was able to use instead of creating tons of constraints manually. Is there such a script out there for max that anyone knows of that does this, or am I just going to have to bite the bullet and manually do it? Highend3d.com doesn't have any that I was able to find but perhaps I'm missing something. Thanks!

Look into "Link Constraint". It basically allows you to keyframe when things are linked together or not
That's probably the easiest. |
