Pilot Classic
Hi, this is my new project a Pilot Classic, and the first thing I do to simulate real skin, it was modelled in 3d max8, Zbrush , rendered with Vray and photoshop for textures and a few color tweaks.

I second inveni0. without any SSS, model's face looks like a painted clay. Since your intention was not that, you should consider SSS shaders immediately. You can use both Vray or mental ray shaders. But my personal choice would be mental ray shader, even though I use Vray for most of my scenes.

Great Sulpt man. I vote for the SSS shader too. It´ll pay a lot more. Try it!.

i think either the resolution for the map's a bit low, or this guy's skin lack specularity, i would look for a little specularity on the lips/nose/cheeks, not too much spec. also the eyes have lost glimmer. almost like dried out, the skin is looking a but-clayish to me. lacks some color tweak/specularity/sss to make it look very nice. nice shot though. tweak these things n it will get better i think, chow.
