Lightbulb Logging Render times in 3D max 2009?

I've been trying to find a way to automatically log the render times for files I'm working on in 3d studio max.

I need to be able to show how much time is wasted by not upgrading our computers. My projects are always different I have no way to prove it other than showing them the actual data from test renders and real renders.

I've been looking and havnt been able to find a log in the program, am I using the wrong keywords? Does anyone know if there is a way to do this?

I apreciate any help I can get.
Thank you,
Elizabeth

Elizabeth,
Are you using VRAY? if so, you can go into the "Settings" tab and tic the "Frame Stamp" box.

This will add a little info bar at the bottom of each render. If you only want the render time to show delete everything in the text box except for

|render time: %rendertime

then each render will have the time on the bottom.

If having the frame stamp on the renders is something you don't want...you can run everything through backburner and print out your server dialogues.

Those are the only two options i know of.

You could try this script....
http://www.scriptspot.com/bobo/mxs4/FrameRenderLog/
It will create a file called RenderFrames.log in your images folder.
