it's a better picture it's but lost a little of the energy in some of your earlier ones cos it doesn't have the hard, definite linework - seems like you were a bit nervous or something.
make sense? hope so . |

Well, it's not finished, but I'd like it to come off with a little more of a realistic look than what I normally do, but my cartoonish quality always seems to bleed through. Any ideas on how to combat that? Or just practice, practice, practice?

=> dont think about it. Look at your realistic model (if you got one), and try make =exactly da same=, do not emphasize or deform, build seriously. Or use your Cartman spirit: "Respect my authorita!!!" If you can't, you'll stay screwed...It'll break your balls man.

This is the starts of a new book cover project. It won't near completion for a while, but it's coming together better than I'd hoped so far, so I thought I'd share it here. This was sketched by hand on paper, scanned, and then colored in Photoshop.

Don't outline them so hard...they are females after all - try to vary the pressure on the line so the thickness too. It will give more life.

You choose
![]() See one good example of what I meant - there are very hard lines somewhere and very soft where it needs them... http://attachments.conceptart.org/fo...0&d=1235190823 I think that the reason for this is - when you have more flesh - soft when you have bones near the hard ones
