I need to find some artists (or a single artist heh). I don't want to post my little advertisement thing anywhere until someone (mod) can tell me where its safe =).

I have been browsing through these forums a bit, and I see lots of talent. *drool drool*

VS is in bad need of an artist or two. Anyway, please tell me where I can post it so I wont get in trouble!

for Vendetta Bowling, a mod built on the Unreal Tournament 2003 engine.

Well, in risk of being banned, i will just post it here =(

I am the producer in at Vendetta Studios. We (90% of our team) made StrikeForce, a mod for Unreal Tournament.

now we are making a bowling game for Unreal Tournament 2003.

Epic (the owners of the Unreal engine) are having a mod contest this summer.

Grand Prize is a free licensed $300,000 Unreal Warfare game engine. What does this mean? Means if we win it, we will be able to sell ANY game we create with it...you can buy it at Wal-Mart...

so what about this bowling thing?

The Balls

we had a contest, included all the tools, to make your own bowling balls. All you needed to know was how to make a pic in MS Paint...Photoshop and such were better...but not necessary...we still have the template, and will re-issue it soon.

Features:

selectable characters with 'over-the-top' themes and voices, and their own theme music (Skanless be the audio G)

NBA-Jam style effects of 'heating up' and 'on fire!'

taunting and trash talking

single player practice including exact pin placement practice (so you can get that 7-10 split down foo!)

full mutiplayer capability (the meat of the game baby)

full stat tracking, including best games, averages, set averages, streaks (strikes, spares, gutters, etc)

leagues with stats and custom uniforms

midnight bowling where you can win Vendetta cash to spend at the Vendetta Pro-Shop to purchase custom-made balls, uniforms, etc

Upgradeable abilities/attributes (not implemented in mod version yet)

probably more...ill have to read over the documentation we have for the game again...but its a lot...

er dont mean to spam, sorry.

but we are desperate for a non-flaky artist who can at least provide two detailed characters for the 3d modellers to crank out. Our pro sketch artist got hired off to Germany, and a local one here is so flaky I can no longer rely on him to even show me a single sketch.

This is a non-paying position, but the possibilities are two-fold:

1. if we win (and we will, trust me), thats a full-time job for ya heh.

2. if we dont win, you still get massive exposure, about 50,000 downloads minimum, with full credit etc going to artists who provide content.

3. even if you dont sketch/concept, theres still ways to make bowling balls (very easily I might add!) and have them included in the game.
